Position Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and procedures to ensure products meet internal and external quality standards. This role includes performing product inspections, reviewing documentation, monitoring production processes, and assisting with investigations and audits. The QC Associate plays a key role in promoting a culture of quality and compliance throughout the facility.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
  • Review production batch records, test data, and other quality documentation for accuracy and completeness before product release.
  • Assist in the investigation and documentation of non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Monitor production lines for adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company quality standards.
  • Conduct line clearance inspections and in-process checks as required.
  • Support the calibration and maintenance of QA equipment and inspection tools.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits by regulatory bodies or customers.
  • Maintain organized and accurate quality records and documentation.
  • Communicate quality issues to production, warehouse, and management teams in a timely manner.
  • Assist in training production personnel on quality procedures, specifications, and GMP requirements.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous quality control experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
  • The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50-100lbs.
  • The ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically and mentally able to work the assigned shift.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varied warehouse conditions including heat, cold, dust, dirt, noise, vibrations, and occasional fumes.
