WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining consistent quality standards throughout the production process by inspecting, testing, and grading incoming and outgoing seed products. This role ensures compliance with company and seed certifying agency standards through accurate documentation, germination and purity testing, and lab analysis. The technician operates lab equipment, maintains sample records, supports food safety and sanitation practices, and assists in office tasks as needed. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and effective communication with the Quality Supervisor are essential to the role.

WHAT WE NEED

Education & Formal Training:

• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• A minimum of one (1) year of packing machine operator experience preferred.
• 2 - 4 years' quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a positive attitude
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Effectively manage time and delegate responsibilities as needed
• Willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail
