Phase Technologies designs and manufactures innovative electronic products based on power switching technologies. Since 1999 the company has been the leading manufacturer of digital phase converters and digital power conditioners for commercial and industrial applications.

We are looking for a dynamic and technically savvy Business Development Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering and strategysomeone who can translate technical capabilities into business value and drive growth through innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in alignment with company goals.

Analyze market trends and customer needs to shape strategic direction.

Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to design and deliver tailored technical solutions.

Prepare and present compelling technical proposals and product demonstrations.

Support marketing initiatives with technical insights and customer feedback.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Negotiate and close deals that meet both client needs and company objectives.

Provide actionable feedback to product and engineering teams based on market intelligence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or applications engineering.

Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with VFDs, programmable logic, or circuit design is advantageous.
