Advanced Research Scientist

The Cook Laboratory in the Molecular Medicine department is recruiting an Advanced Research Scientist to assist and manage daily operations and facilitate growth and expansion of this newly established research team at USF in Tampa. The Cook lab uses a variety of cell and animal model systems to provide new insight into pathogenic mechanisms in Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and uncover novel therapeutic strategies. In order to manage day-to-day lab functions and collaborations, the current position will require competency with standard and more advanced scientific techniques and equipment, and will also involve compiling and analyzing data, as well as generating figures for manuscripts and grant applications.
