• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and assist in maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health degree, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
