• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and execute maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree along with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of hire.
• Maintain active certification status throughout your employment.
