Lab Technician

Pay rate: $18 - $22/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze samples using GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS instruments
• Follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately
• Identify and verify sample sequences for each batch
• Process instrument data and generate appropriate reports
• Conduct first-level reviews of analytical data per assay SOPs
• Transcribe or upload test results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Maintain accurate and complete Chain of Custody documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate any issues promptly
• Ensure a safe and healthful work environment by following lab safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory setting
• Familiarity with handling biological specimens, lab chemicals, and instruments
