Job Overview:
Scientist III in our Bioanalytical Laboratory team is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in development and validation of new assays, including GxP assays. This role will contribute significantly to the success of our laboratory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Development and Validation of new GxP assays with minimal supervision.
- May serve as Principal Investigator (PI); GxP projects as assigned.
- Authoring and reviewing Protocols, Reports, Deviations, and Audit responses.
- Training Scientists on techniques and assays and providing technical assistance to assigned research staff.
- Performing RUO and GxP assays independently.
- Performing sample analysis following established SOPs under RUO/GLP/cGMP conditions as needed.
- Performing a QC function to review data and reports to ensure the accuracy of all laboratory-related processes.
- Providing high quality documentation of all lab related activities, including, for example, assay batch record, sample inventory, etc.
- Maintaining regular communication with scientists, PIs, and other project staff as well as external clients.
What We're Looking For:
- At least BS in a scientific field with at least 3 years industry experience.
- Experience with Immunoassays techniques is critical.
- Strong experience with GLP and cGMP as well as assay development and validation is required.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team to complete projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work without supervision in a team environment. Will participate in client meetings.
