Description
The Applications Chemist serves as a critical technical resource, working closely with the sales team, laboratory staff, and other departments to deliver expert support and innovative solutions. This role is responsible for advising on appropriate lab services, interpreting technical data, and providing direct assistance to customers both remotely and on-site. The Applications Engineer also contributes to the company's technical knowledge base by developing case studies, writing white papers, and helping improve internal processes. In addition, this role supports internal training and ensures compliance with-and continuous improvement of-Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Duties/Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise, recommend appropriate laboratory services to address customer issues, and assist in interpreting test results. Provide direct technical support to customers for specific projects, ensuring effective use of company products and services. Write and present technical case studies at industry conferences, and author white papers that highlight the company's experience and innovations. Conduct on-site client visits to provide hands-on technical support, perform sample collection, and assist with troubleshooting as needed. Support and train Membrane Testing Engineers, offering technical guidance and mentorship as required. Adhere to all relevant company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to their ongoing improvement by creating or updating SOPs in response to evolving work conditions. Other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
