Chemist
Job Description

The position involves proposing, executing, and presenting results of qualification projects, as well as overseeing raw material qualification, batching, and processing. The chemist will conduct bench-top formulation of vitamins, minerals, supplements (VMS), oral care products, and specialty hair and skin care products.

Responsibilities

  • Propose and execute experimental projects and present findings internally.
  • Oversee raw material qualification, batching, and processing.
  • Conduct bench-top formulation for VMS, oral care, and specialty hair/skin care products.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in formulation and research & development in consumer products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Food Science.
  • 1+ years of experience in the consumer goods industry focused on hair care, skin care, oral care, vitamins, minerals, and supplements.
  • 1+ years of experience in R&D, formulation, chemistry, laboratory work, and compliance with GMP standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in oral care products is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
