Payrate:

$25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join the Protein Chemistry team at our state-of-the-art research facility. PT is a multidisciplinary team with broad capabilities in protein engineering, expression, purification, and characterization.

Responsibilities:

Operate & troubleshoot our automation platforms for high throughput purification and analytics.

Protein purification using a variety of techniques and instrumentation.

Protein analytics uses a variety of techniques and instrumentation.

Contribute to the development of new processes and methods.

Capture experimental data in LIMS/ELN systems.

Summarize and report results and findings to work group and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with protein purification, particularly biologic molecules

Expertise with a variety of chromatography techniques, liquid chromatography instrumentation (FPLC) and software (Unicorn, ChromLab)

Experience with protein analytical techniques (HPLC, MCE, etc ) and analysis software (Chrome Leon, Lab Chip)

Knowledge of lab automation and high throughput purification techniques

Ability to multi-task, work flexibly and efficiently in a cross-functional environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Top 3 Must Have Skill:

Experience with protein purification techniques (Affinity, IEX, HIC, SEC, etc.), instrumentation (FPLC), software (Unicorn, ChromLab)

Familiarity with protein analytical techniques (HPLC, MCE, etc....) and analysis software (Chrome Leon, Lab Chip, Empower, etc.)

Familiarity or experience with high throughput purification and lab automation technologies (liquid handlers, lab robotics, etc.)

Pay Transparency:

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:

$25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
