Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our dynamic Laboratory team. This role is ideal for a clinical laboratory scientist or med tech who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is committed to delivering accurate, timely diagnostic results.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests and analyses in areas such as hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology.
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments with precision and care.
  • Ensure accuracy of results by adhering to quality control, safety protocols, and all regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, etc.).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient test data.
  • Communicate critical findings promptly to physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams.
  • Support continuous lab operations with a focus on organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related scientific field.
  • Current Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (required for MT, MLS, MLT roles).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification through ASCP or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical lab setting is a plus.
