Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support pesticide residue and environmental fate studies at our research facility in Chesterfield, MO. In this role, you will assist principal investigators by performing a range of laboratory tasks to support regulated studies under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare reagents, calibration standards, and analytical solutions as directed.
  
  
• Process and weigh biological and environmental samples (plant, soil, water, animal tissue) for analysis.
  
  
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and LC-MS/MS .
  
  
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with GLP regulations , including detailed lab notebooks and batch records.
  
  
• Interact with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to input, retrieve, and manage data.
  
  
• Conduct QC review of results and flag any inconsistencies or out-of-specification data.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  
  
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience, ideally within a GLP-compliant or regulated environment.
  
  
• Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques and analytical instrumentation (HPLC and/or LC-MS/MS).
