Postdoc/Research Scientist in Semiconductor Optoelectronic Devices

The Optical Fiber Communications Laboratory and the Multiple Quantum Well Laboratory are seeking a postdoctoral fellow/Research Scientist to participate in research in III-V integrated photonic devices/circuits for applications in lasers, communication and signal processing. Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

Modelling, design and optimization of III-V materials, passive devices, and active devices including amplifiers, lasers, detectors, and (phase, MZI, EAM) modulators.

Integrated device fabrication (in house and/or via foundry services).

Optical and electro-optical characterization of III-V materials and devices.

System applications/demonstrations.
