Key job responsibilities
- Ingesting and processing global news media, broadcast, podcast, and social media in real-time
- Designing Generative AI solutions to revolutionize how communications professionals create, analyze, and review content
- Creating robust search and monitoring mechanisms to track brand mentions and industry trends
- Building intuitive reporting tools that transform complex data into actionable intelligence
- Building an intuitive User Experience (UX) for our internal customers

A day in the life
- Daily standup to report progress on your project and raise any challenges or blockers
- Hands-on building: design, prototype, code, operations
- Hold or participate in design reviews and bug bashes
- Quick chats with teammates to get alignment or guidance on a problem
- Product manager and customer meetings to get feedback on UX wireframes and features
About the team
The CCR Ops & Tech Measurement team has a strong culture of high ownership, bias for action, customer obsession, and delivering results. We take on ambiguous and challenging customer problems and invent solutions that are efficient, extensible, and operationally sound. We lean into the future, using Gen AI in our daily workflows and in our technical solutions to enhance and speed our delivery. We are collaborative, always willing to help a customer or teammate. Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with search technologies like OpenSearch
- Experience using Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, or Machine Learning to analyze text at scale
- Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
