• Assist in specimen collection and ensure proper preparation of samples for testing as required.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and clean workspace, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health field, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Essential Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment.
