- Independently carry out nucleic acid extractions from a variety of sample types.
- Perform quantitative PCR (qPCR) set-up and data analysis.
- Prepare libraries for high-throughput sequencing.
- Conduct DNA sequencing on next-generation DNA analyzers.
- Perform routine maintenance of DNA analyzers and related equipment.
- Check inventory and replenish consumable sequencing supplies.
- Communicate with customers by phone and e-mail in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow SOPs and guidance of supervisors while being an effective team player committed to company goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or Molecular Biology.
- 1+ years of biological lab experience.
- Proficiency in genomics, biology, and molecular biology techniques.
- Detail-oriented with strong pipetting skills.
- Knowledge of standard laboratory processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment (e.g., CLIA/CAP, GLP, GMP, and/or GCP) is highly desirable.
- Ability to develop and follow Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs).

The facility operates in a 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a one-hour lunch break. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, consisting of orientation, introductions, and hands-on training in the lab. Our team is composed of dedicated individuals working diligently to achieve company goals, and while the work is focused, the environment can be laid back at times.
