Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team and support Biochemistry testing in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform development, validation, and routine testing of pharmaceutical samples using complex chromatography, electrophoresis, and compendial instrumentation.
- Proficient with Aseptic technique and handling biologic samples ( monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, antibody-drug conjugates, vaccines)
- Implement, maintain, calibrate, and operate instrumentation
- Document work as required for GMP compliance.
- Execute work in accordance with standard operating procedures, with attention to detail, and with strong organizational skills.
- Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Act as a technical lead and mentor for less experienced staff.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and a minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience.

- Industry experience with Biochemistry techniques, preferably in a GLP/ cGMP environment
- Industry experience with Electrophoresis and Chromatography
- Proficient with Aseptic technique and handling biologic samples ( monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, antibody-drug conjugates, vaccines)
- Possess a basic understanding of instrument installation, maintenance, and qualification in a GxP environment.
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, first shift 9am - 5pm, second shift 3pm - 11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Portage, MI are encouraged to apply.
