Job Description
We are in search of a Chemical Specialist to join our growing team. The focus of this position, you will interact directly with customers in the Food Service, Laundry and Food Processing industries. Responsibilities include assisting in promoting product and system solutions, train both customers and co- workers on the proper use and procedures of products/equipment and provide prompt, personal and reliable services to meet customer needs. You will assist/lead installing laundry, ware wash and Food processing dispensing systems. You will develop relationships with customers as well as your Co-Workers on the sales team to create a seamless organization for the customer. You will be responsible for assigned customers to service "route" on a regularly scheduled basis.

- Install, maintain and repair dispensing equipment as well as demonstrate safe equipment use, ensuring that the equipment is fully operational.
- Install commercial dish machines as required
- Independently understand your customer's cleaning needs in order to proactively identify solutions that best meet customer expectations.
- Perform skilled mechanical/electrical work to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, repair, modify, and install machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems
- Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings. These duties shall be performed using hand tools, power tools, industrial equipment, measuring and testing instruments
- Working knowledge and understanding of HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, and OSHA requirements.
- Know and explain the hazards associated with specific types of products, equipment and tools.
- Use appropriate tools for the job and comply with all company safety polices. Wear all the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required or necessary, know proper reporting of an accident or emergency.
- Always operate all equipment and/or machinery correctly and safely
- Assist outside vendors and/or contractors by providing information or lending assistance for work conducted at specified locations

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Exposure to a combination of normal office type environments, shop environments and customer locations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time or part-time position, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Occasional early or late hours may be required as job duties demand as well as being on-call including nights and weekends as needed.
Travel
Significant local travel on a daily basis and occasional overnight travel may be necessary..

Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $28.00-$36.00 an hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
