Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morewhile following standard protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, identify and rectify errors, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, aid in training new staff or students, and uphold quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree in conjunction with readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your time in the position.
