As a Senior Personal Care Chemist, you'll play a key role in formulating innovative personal care products from concept through commercialization. We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

Personal care/ OTC product experience (not oral or color cosmetics)

Strong chemist background (formulation)

7+ years of bench experience

Pay: $91k-$110k

Schedule: M-F 8a-4:15p

Type of Job: Direct Hire

Location: 100% onsite- Oak Brook

Senior Personal Care Chemist Daily Tasks: What you will do:

Formulate new recipes

Scale up new formulations

Understand the technical, regulatory, competitive, cost, operational, project timing, etc aspects that go into scaling up products to make an organization successful.

Propose solutions to raw material issues when working with vendors

Maintain quality, accuracy, and documentation of work

Keep up with new industry trends

Collaborate with other internal teams

Senior Personal Care Chemist Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical OTC industry

5+ years of Product formulation experience (personal care products/ OTC products)
