Description Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.
• Verify result accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a commensurate allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of certification throughout your tenure.
