Description What Youll Be Involved In

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory assayschemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to extensive guidelines.
• Evaluate test results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory devices.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as handling requires.
• Keep thorough documentation of all processes, mentor new personnel or interns, and assist in maintaining laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment, comply with all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Earned Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health education with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) achieved within the initial year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
