Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting DNA synthesis and cleaving-deprotection areas. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and basic computer skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Spring, TX

What's the Job?

• Assist in DNA production processes, including synthesis and cleaving-deprotection.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic PC skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications and web-based tools.
• Flexibility to work more than 8 hours as needed.
• 1-2 years of college coursework towards a scientific degree; laboratory experience is a plus.
