Assistant Immunologist I / QC Lab Tech I

Piper Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Immunologist I to join our Quality Control team in Baltimore, MD. This full-time role supports QC testing, assay development, and facility maintenance in a GMP-compliant environment.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Immunologist I / QC Lab Tech I Include:

• Perform assays on LI samples and troubleshoot minor issues
• Test and release reagents, media, and chemicals
• Assist with method validation and reagent preparation
• Conduct and log stability tests
• Manage sample intake, inventory, and vendor coordination
• Maintain lab cleanliness, monitor equipment, and handle waste
• Ensure accurate documentation and audit QC files
• Follow SOPs/GMPs and participate in team meetings
• Complete required safety and technical training

Qualification of the Assistant Immunologist I / QC Lab Tech I Include:

Required:

• A.A. with 1-4 years or B.S. with 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with SOPs and GMP standards

Preferred:

• Experience in GMP-regulated environments
• Skills in immunological assays and documentation

Compensation of the Assistant Immunologist I / QC Lab Tech I Includes:

• Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 based on experience
