Position: In Vivo Research Associate (Contractor)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Foster City, CA 94404 (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Position Overview
Client is seeking a highly motivated In Vivo Research Associate to join its Oncology In Vivo Pharmacology team. The role supports preclinical evaluation of oncology therapeutics through execution of in vivo studies, data analysis, and project team collaboration. Some flexibility for off-shift and weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform murine handling and dosing (IV, IP, PO, RO, subcutaneous)
Conduct in-life and terminal blood collection, tissue collection during necropsy, and ex vivo tissue processing
Support daily dosing, tumor measurements, and study/facility maintenance
Participate in project team meetings to contribute to study design, data organization, and presentation of results
Required Qualifications
MS or BS in a relevant field
2 3 years of post-graduate hands-on experience, or equivalent, in murine models of cancer, inflammation, or immunology
Strong background in biology
Proficiency in animal handling (mouse), basic pharmacology, and experimental design/execution/analysis
Preferred Qualifications
In vitro and wet-lab experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
