Medical Lab Scientist

We are currently hiring a Medical Laboratory Generalist for a Core Lab setting at a leading healthcare facility. This is a full-time day shift opportunity ideal for individuals with a strong generalist experience in clinical diagnostics.

The selected candidate will perform a wide range of laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis. This role is essential to supporting accurate and timely diagnostic results in a high-volume Core Lab environment.

Candidates may qualify under any of the following credentials:

• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
• Medical Technologist (MT)

• Perform routine and complex testing procedures across multiple disciplines
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers
• Conduct and document quality control procedures
• Report results accurately using the laboratory information system
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding critical values
• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, CAP, OSHA)

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred but not required
• 1+ years of experience in a Core Lab or generalist role
• Familiarity with automated analyzers and LIS systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on day shift

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
