Job DescriptionGENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving
- Interfaces with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen issues
- Ability to solve problems pertaining to day-to-day duties
- Recommends changes in services, processes, and policies that enhance pre-analytical efficiencies
- Revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Serves as a resource for technician
- Is a resource for technologist and department management
- Surfaces problems to Supervisor
- Aids in implementing changes and corrective action to help with process improvement
- Works with Quality Assurance to resolve client complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendation to management
- Ability to train subordinate technicians in all aspects of job duties
- Comfort interacting with inspectors (regulatory bodies, clients)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies
- Assists department as needed with routine operations
- Supports Eurofins DPTs business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics
- In order to meet Eurofins DPTs quality policy and objectives, all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPTs quality management system including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of relevant experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
- Must meet Technician II Criteria
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
- This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by Eurofins DPTs Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.

Compensation:
- $22.00 - $24.50
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
