Responsibilities What You Will Accomplish

• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and uphold laboratory standards of quality.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree plus readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year from hire.
• Maintain current certification during your employment.
