Description Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for timely testing.
• Keep meticulous records of all processes, assist in the training of new team members, and enforce laboratory quality protocols.
• Ensure a safe, tidy workspace while adhering to both regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Must maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
