QC Lab Technician

Perform required inspections and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process, final products, storage tanks, drums, shipping, and other samples accurately and promptly. Learn all the SOPs and test methods needed to perform sample analysis safely and consistently. Record data in the lab computer system for various types of samples. Generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and chemical tests on various samples including raw materials, in-process, and final products.
• Learn and adhere to all SOPs and test methods for safe and consistent sample analysis.
• Accurately record data in the laboratory computer system.
• Generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products.

• 3-5 years of experience in a chemical lab.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Chemistry-related fields.
• Experience with quality assurance, quality control, and analytical chemistry.
• Proficiency in techniques such as GCMS, HPLC, titration, chromatography, and viscosity measurement.
• Understanding of pH testing, wet chemistry, and QC testing.

• Preferred working knowledge of SAP.

The role is set in a lab environment with a small team of 6 people. Initially, you will work from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, for training. Upon completion, the schedule will shift to a 2-2-3 12-hour shift pattern. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
