Associate Scientist (Documentation)

As a key contributor within our Research & Development team, the Associate Scientist (Documentation) will implement Good Documentation Practices and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will create and maintain procedures and protocols, manage documentation systems, and contribute to risk management and regulatory initiatives. This position is also responsible for maintaining R&D records (both physical and digital), overseeing raw material inventory controls, and reviewing raw data transcription. Your work will include developing protocol templates, conducting gap assessments, and supporting health hazard assessments and benefit/risk analyses. You may participate in cross-functional meetings, acting as an R&D spokesperson.

To succeed in this role, you should hold a BS or BA in physical sciences or a closely related field, with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced research environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential. Familiarity with ISO standards, FDA regulations, and environmental management systems (ISO14001) is a preferred asset.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $61,000 – $68,000 annually. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
