Associate Scientist I

Seeking a skilled Associate Scientist to join a dynamic technical development team in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a lab-experienced professional to contribute to a variety of non-GMP services, including preparing solutions and media, managing raw materials, and assisting in formulation development. The ideal candidate has a background in biotechnology and a strong work ethic. You will be a key player in ensuring consistent service delivery and will have the chance to collaborate with multiple departments. Preparing basic and complex solutions, media, and buffers. Assisting in the development and optimization of formulations. Providing technical expertise on preparation procedures and mixing process parameters. Following established procedures to ensure consistent service delivery. Managing the department's chemical and consumable inventories. Collaborating and communicating with multiple departments to develop solution formulations and preparation process instructions. Characterizing media and buffers. Defining assay release criteria. Investigating and troubleshooting deviations. qualifications: Required: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in the Sciences with 1 year of experience in a lab environment required.Previous experience with sterile technique.Previous experience with documentation.The ideal candidate is a flexible, fast learner with a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, organization and attention to detail.
