Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemist Level I to join our Quality Control team. In this entry-level position, you will perform routine chemical and physical testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples to ensure they meet established quality standards. Under the guidance of senior chemists and laboratory leadership, you will follow validated methods and procedures in compliance with cGMP regulations and company protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in a regulated laboratory environment, develop technical skills, and contribute to the production of safe and effective pharmaceutical products. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
- Accurately document all test data and observations in a clear, concise, and compliant manner per current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Follow written instructions and protocols with precision and a strong attention to detail.
- Support method development, validation, and transfer activities as needed.
- Participate in laboratory investigations and contribute to root cause analyses when deviations or out-of-specification results occur.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 0-2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or food testing environment (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and general internet navigation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
