Description Your Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of clinical laboratory testscovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional specialtiesadhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize test results for precision, diagnose issues, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all processes, train newcomers or students, and champion laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, secure work environment while fulfilling regulatory and accreditation criteria.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, including preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
