Job Description The Analytical Technician will be responsible for testing products using wet chemistry techniques, employing instruments such as HPLC, pH meters, and more. The testing will focus on both in-process material and finished products to ensure compliance with external standards and specifications. The role requires adherence to GMPs, GLPs, and other company standards. Additional duties include documenting and reporting deviations and non-conformances to management. There is an opportunity for cross-training within similar departments on-site. Responsibilities
- Perform testing on products using wet chemistry techniques and instruments including HPLC and pH meters.
- Conduct tests on both in-process material and finished products to ensure compliance with external standards and specifications.
- Adhere to GMPs, GLPs, and other company standards.
- Document and report deviations and non-conformances to management.
- Engage in cross-training opportunities within similar departments on-site.
- Proficiency in HPLC and wet chemistry techniques.
- Understanding of GMP and GLP standards.
- Experience with laboratory and quality control processes.
- Analytical chemistry skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in a scientific discipline.
- Previous laboratory experience required; lab experience in a food manufacturing facility highly preferred.
