Food Scientist, Product Formulator R&D Food and Beverage

Our small and influential food science CPG consultancy in Downtown Brooklyn works in the better-for-you sector of food and beverage development. Our small team has developed and brought over 500 products to market in the natural/wellness food and beverage space. Our novel approach to formulation has given life to multiple award-winning, influential brands that have changed their category and market. We work with international brands as well as pre-product startups. Our goal is to help guide brands to success through innovation and our years of expertise as industry innovators. This position calls for a solid understanding of both qualitative and hands-on formulation as well as developing a discerning palate for tasting the subtleties of food and beverage product formulation. This position requires basic knowledge of product formulations, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, precise detail orientation, clear communications skills, and the ability to take ownership of multiple projects at once. The right candidate will have a deep interest in the CPG food and beverage world, some lab and/or CPG development experience, and excellent intrapersonal and problem solving skills.
