About the Role:
As a DMPK senior scientist within Preclinical Development, a successful candidate will execute and manage in vitro DMPK studies to support product advancement from early discovery through commercial._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Execute in vitro DMPK studies to identify potential new drug candidates and support the development of clinical-stage drug candidates
Manage in vitro DMPK studies conducted at CROs
Research and implement new technologies as needed
Present updates at department and project team meetings
Source, procure, install, qualify, operate, and maintain instrumentation and equipment required for in vitro DMPK studies, as needed
Must have a solid understanding of the objectives and underlying science of in vitro DMPK studies
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
BS/BA degree in biology, chemistry, or related science and 5+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in an ADME laboratory. Strong experience with DMPK screening models, particularly permeability and transporter model. Experience acting as a DMPK representative on discovery teams. Hands-on experience with automation, tissue culture, LC-MS/MS or relevant experience required OR
MS/MA degree and 3+ years of experience as shown above OR
PhD or equivalent; some experience as shown above may include postdoc experience
Experience performing in vitro DMPK studies; plasma protein binding, CYP inhibition, CYP induction, metabolic stability, reaction phenotyping, in vitro drug metabolism using microsomes and hepatocytes
Experience with the following instrumentation and techniques is preferred; LC-MS/MS, HPLC, laboratory automation, cell culture, use of radioactivity
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to think creatively and be a team player
Offer flexibility with a willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $108,600.00-$157,350.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
