PCR Lab Technician - West Hartford, CT

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCR Lab Technicianto join our molecular diagnostics team in West Hartford. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in biology and hands-on experience with PCR techniques. You will be responsible for preparing samples, running PCR assays, and supporting research and diagnostic workflows.

• Conduct routine and specializedPCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction)testing
• Prepare and manage biological samples and reagents
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Record and analyze test results with accuracy
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards
• Collaborate with team members on research and diagnostic projects

• Bachelors degree inBiology,Biochemistry, or a related field
• Experience with PCR techniques (academic, internship, or professional)
• Familiarity with DNA/RNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, and lab protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• qPCR or RT-PCR experience
• Prior work in a clinical or research lab setting
• Knowledge of LIMS or other lab data systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
