We help our customers find content they didnt even known they were looking for, continuing to surprise them with the depth of our catalog. Prime Video is building the future of TV for customers in over 200 countries to enjoy an endless selection of movies, shows and sports on their TV, mobile devices and desktop. Our teams are already leveraging Deep Neural Networks, Transformer models, LLMs. Not only will you be exposed to the cutting edge of machine learning research, you'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers and scientists to create services to run these predictions on distributed systems at incredible scale and speed. As a member of the Prime Video CTR team, you will spend your time as a hands-on engineer and a technical leader. You will play a key role in defining CX and building features from the ground up. You will use a wide range of technologies, programming languages and systems. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of software development. At the end of the day, you will have the reward of seeing your contributions delight Prime Video customers worldwide.
Some examples of the things we work on are
1) Neural Networks and Deep Learning techniques to find titles that customers will enjoy
2) Build and operate services that deliver millions of recommendations per second
3) Extend models and algorithms to support our ever growing ways of consuming content (subscriptions, live, rentals etc),
4) Dealing with unique challenges such as observational bias and rapidly scaling dimensions
5) Constantly experimenting with changes to the underlying algorithms and models to deliver relevant content to a wide variety of customer experiences.

Key job responsibilities
1. Understand product requirements, look for systematic and data challenges and defining requirements for model
2. Work with scientists to build models, run A/B testing, work with product to review CX and impact to business metrics.
3. Build and improve services that serve recommendations
4. building data processing pipelines, productionalize model
5. Continuously iterate on ML Infra
6. Build automation and debugging tooling for monitor and debug performance of personalization models.
About the team
We work closely with sister teams, Applied Scientists and Product Managers together in an experiment driven, agile development process. You'll get to collaborate with teammates on distributed software solutions and get the chance to learn about the machine learning domain.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
