What You Will Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morein accordance with set protocols.
• Ensure analytical accuracy by troubleshooting results, and perform preventive maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Facilitate specimen collections and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, contribute to training new staff or students, and actively maintain high lab quality standards.
• Uphold hygiene and safety in the workplace, adhering to all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Keep certification current throughout your tenure.
