Compensation: $34$45/hour
Type: 6-Month Contract

Overview
Our client, a leader in innovative antibody-based technologies, is seeking an Associate Scientist, Analytical Sciences (Physicochemical) to support monoclonal antibody (mAb) development programs. This role is ideal for someone from the biotech industry including entry-level scientists who thrives in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. Accuracy and quality of data are critical, and the ability to quickly identify and act on data quality issues is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform chromatography and electrophoresis-based analytical testing to support mAb programs
• Execute sample testing with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with GMP documentation standards
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including HPLC/UPLC systems and electrophoresis platforms
• Adhere to SOPs and quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, open communication, and teamwork

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
• Hands-on experience performing SEC, CE, cIEF, and SoloVPE assays for biologics
• Proficiency with instrumentation: Waters HPLC/UPLC, iCE3, Maurice, PA800 Plus
• Software proficiency: Empower, 32Karat, and related analytical tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a GMP-regulated or CDMO environment
• Background in biologics characterization techniques beyond the listed assays
