Bench Chemist

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific industry, is seeking a Bench Chemist to join their team. As a Bench Chemist, you will be part of the analytical team supporting various projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bench Chemist

Location: Zebulon, NC

Pay Range: $23.93/hr

What's the Job?

• Conduct routine analytical testing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and environmental samples using approved methods and various instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, Vitek, GC, UV, microscope, gram stainer, robotics).

• Generate valid data at expected levels of productivity while adhering to cGMP standards.

• Interpret the validity of your own test data and generate accurate results.

• Advise your immediate supervisor or designee of all important aspects of analytical testing, including deviations.

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and assist in training other laboratory personnel on methods and instrumentation.

What's Needed?

• A 4-year degree in Chemistry or a science-based field such as biology or biochemistry.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Specific training in HPLC, Empower, and Inhalation/Respiratory testing techniques is preferred.

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and participate in interdepartmental project teams.
