Our client, a leading organization in the scientific research field, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemist

Location: Miamisburg, OH

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

What's the Job?

• Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations while ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.
• Conduct multi-disciplined, custom, complex processes, and assays, primarily involving stable isotope compounds.
• Maintain equipment, prepare reagents, and restock lab supplies to support laboratory operations.
• Communicate the status of operations and bring deviations to the attention of the supervisor.
• Participate in quality audits and collaborate with external customers to ensure compliance and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with at least 5 years of independent lab research or industrial experience synthesizing stable isotopes, or a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory and analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality standards.
