Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab testscovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established procedures.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, train new staff or students, and maintain stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree in preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
