Job Title: Chemist II
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Shift hours: 9 a.m. 5:30 p.m, M-F
Job Responsibilities :
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a QC role
- Maintain safety and compliance standards in the laboratory and work areas.
- Test and analyze incoming materials, intermediates, finished products, swab samples, and other samples of moderate scope and complexity.
- Prepare, maintain, and review thorough records and documentation on solutions, sample preparation, and investigational/experimental samples.
- Support laboratory investigations into Out of Specification/Out of Trend results or other laboratory events.
- Perform revisions to documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, Test Methods, and Specifications.
- Support the send-out of materials for contract laboratory testing.
- Assist with verification of compendial methods.
- Assist with activities associated with the stability program including sampling and statistical analyses.
- Execute projects of a limited to moderate scope as assigned.
- Assist with activities related to the sampling of incoming materials as needed.
- Handle routine operation of the laboratory, including washing and cleaning of glassware.
- Manage receiving activities related to incoming materials and goods for the laboratory.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in the sciences.
- Prefer 1-2 years experience (will consider recent graduates).
- Excellent working knowledge of basic scientific principles and experience managing experiments.
- Sharp attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.
