As a Lab Research Chemist you will:Worker performs mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Works with moderate direction and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.Assume responsibility for initiating and performing defined technical activities for nonconforming product investigations or for improving complianceUsually reports to a supervisor or senior technical individual.Duties and responsibilities may include initiating and completing technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes which have significant impact potential at a program level.Establish and cultivate a network of support (laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, operations and quality) to facilitate completion of assignments. Participates in root cause analysis, and documents experimental data/observations in appropriate systems, prepares reports, and makes oral presentations.
