Essential Duties:
We are seeking a candidate to join an effort developing semiconductor, spin quantum bit devices and mature the project by improving device yield.
The candidate will relate electrical data taken at various temperature stages of testing, including quantum coherent spin qubit characterization, to fabrication processes and semiconductor device design.
The individual will investigate device failures through materials characterization techniques, and organize, update, and summarize results.
The role involves using databases to extract critical information and statistical data analysis.
The position requires frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting, a strong work ethic, enjoyment of problem solving, and a natural scientific curiosity
Required Skills:
10+ Years of experience in the semiconductor yield engineering field.
Statistical analysis and design of experiments
Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques
Development and design of novel semiconductor or quantum devices, including understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes
Semiconductor device physics
Experience with Python and SQL is preferred, though specific languages are less important.
Reporting and documentation of test results
Cryogenic test equipment
Required Education:
Master's or Doctorate degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or related field.
