• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established laboratory protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy through careful analysis, troubleshoot potential errors, and perform essential maintenance on lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and preparation for testing when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all laboratory procedures, aid in training new team members or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
