Chemist

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Industrial Chemist to conduct chemical analysis and support laboratory operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze chemical and physical properties of various substances.
• Perform routine testing and documentation of pharmaceutical materials.
• Prepare solutions, conduct extractions, filtrations, and other lab techniques.
• Audit lab data and maintain accurate records.
• Interpret results and compile technical reports.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results per standard procedures.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments such as HPLC, ICP/MS, UV, and IR.
• Develop and execute protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to method development.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

• Proficiency in HPLC, IR, FTIR, ICP/MS, and other analytical lab equipment.
• Strong understanding of Chemistry, Wet chemistry, Analytical chemistry, and Quality control.
• Experience with GCMS.
• 13 years of experience in an industrial or pharmaceutical lab setting.

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with GMP and GLP standards.

The role is based in a clean room laboratory with desk and bench workstations. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 4:15 pm to 12:45 am. The environment is dynamic and inclusive, offering opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and continuous learning in a supportive setting.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
