Job Description A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Industrial Chemist to conduct chemical analysis and support laboratory operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards. Responsibilities
- Analyze chemical and physical properties of various substances.
- Perform routine testing and documentation of pharmaceutical materials.
- Prepare solutions, conduct extractions, filtrations, and other lab techniques.
- Audit lab data and maintain accurate records.
- Interpret results and compile technical reports.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results per standard procedures.
- Operate and maintain lab instruments such as HPLC, ICP/MS, UV, and IR.
- Develop and execute protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Follow safety guidelines and contribute to method development.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Proficiency in HPLC, IR, FTIR, ICP/MS, and other analytical lab equipment.
- Strong understanding of Chemistry, Wet chemistry, Analytical chemistry, and Quality control.
- Experience with GCMS.
- 13 years of experience in an industrial or pharmaceutical lab setting.
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with GMP and GLP standards.
